The purpose of this ratio is to show the yield of keywords. Anything above 1 is a sign of a good healthy site in a niche offering a good yield efficiency. Anything below 1 can either mean that the site has still plenty of headroom or that it is in a very competitive niche.
Very interesting example of a huge discrepancy between the value we can estimate from ahrefs numbers, based on $0.1 per organic visit and the actual value advertised on Flippa, 3.5x+ higher than the conservative evaluation. How can we explain such a difference? Two things. 1° the package sold includes the .com and .co.uk properties, which are analysed as 2 separate domains on ahrefs (I’ve combined the numbers) 2. It appears that 43% of this site’s traffic comes from advertising (49% from organic search), while most of the sites we’re reviewing derive almost all their traffic from organic sources. In the last 3 months, the site has spent almost $400,000 in advertising & seo efforts. It’s not the typical organic affiliate site.

Our revenue estimate is based on $0.1 per organic visit, which is a ballpark number we've seen for a lot of AMZ affiliate sites advertised on leading marketplaces (Empire Flippers, FE International, Flippa,...). $0.1 per visit usually corresponds tp the overall amount of sessions, not only the organic ones, as in our calculation, which means that this number is probably a conservative assumption.
The actual revenue depends on the UX quality of the site and the smart insertion of affiliate links. It's also influenced by the other forms of monetisation (info products, display ads, etc.). Simply consider this estimate as the average goal of a typical good AMZ affiliate site.
