Understanding the basics of Google Calendar

Adding tasks to Google Calendar
One of the great features of Google Calendar is its ability to integrate task lists alongside events. To add a task in Google Calendar, click the ‘+’ icon located at the lower-right corner of the screen, and select ‘Task’ from the drop-down menu. You can add multiple tasks to the list by clicking the ‘Add a task’ button. Once you have added the task, you can assign a due date, set a reminder and specify the priority level.
Editing tasks in Google Calendar
Editing tasks in Google Calendar is a straightforward process. To edit a task, open the task list by clicking on the ‘Tasks’ button located at the bottom right-hand corner of the calendar. Once you have opened the task list, select the task you want to edit and click on the pencil icon located next to it. You can then make the necessary changes to the task and save the changes by clicking on the ‘Save’ button.
Viewing tasks in Google Calendar
Google Calendar shows the list of tasks that are due on a particular day, along with your events. To view the tasks for the day, simply click on the date in the monthly view, or click on the ‘Agenda’ button at the top of the screen. You can also view the entire task list by clicking on the ‘Tasks’ button located at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, and selecting ‘View Tasks’ from the drop-down menu.
Integrating Google Tasks with Google Calendar
If you are a user of the Google Tasks app, you can integrate it with Google Calendar, to sync your tasks across platforms. To do this, open Google Calendar, and click on the ‘Tasks’ button located at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Select ‘Settings’ from the drop-down menu and click on the ‘Integrations’ tab. From here, you can integrate Google Tasks with Google Calendar, by clicking on the toggle switch next to ‘Google Tasks’.
