Lost Button
One of the most common button problems is losing a button. It can be quite frustrating when a button suddenly disappears from your shirt, blouse, or jacket. Most clothes come with a spare button or two, so check the tag of your clothes to see if there are any spare buttons attached on it. Loose Button
Another problem that people face is a loose button. A loose button can be an annoyance because it can come undone easily, and the buttonhole may not be tight enough to secure the button. To fix this issue, you need to tighten the thread that is holding the button in place. Use a thread and needle to reinforce the button by sewing it again where it has come loose. You could also add a drop of clear nail polish on the thread knots to make it more secure.
Button Falling Off
A falling button is the worst nightmare of anyone, especially when it happens during an important event or occasion. If you notice that a button is about to come off, it is better to fix it right away before it falls off. You can use a thread and needle to sew the button back onto the garment. Buttonhole Too Small or Too Large
Another issue that can be problematic is a buttonhole that is too small or too large. A button that doesn’t fit the buttonhole properly can be frustrating because it won’t stay in place. If the buttonhole is too small, you could try using a pointed object like a toothpick or scissors to gently stretch the hole. If the buttonhole is too big, you can try sewing a small bead or button onto the thread using a needle to create a stopper that prevents the button from sliding out of place.
