Follow these steps to make your own concrete bookends:
Step 1: Mix the concrete
Follow the instructions on the concrete mix to create your concrete. Add the concrete mix to a plastic cup, then add water and stir with a disposable stirring utensil. The mixture should have a consistency similar to pancake batter.
Step 2: Pour the concrete into the mold
Pour the concrete mixture into your mold. If you don’t have a silicone mold, you can make a mold out of cardboard. Cut the cardboard to the size and shape you want, and then tape it together to create a form for your concrete. Pour the concrete mixture into your mold until it is half full.
