Gather the Necessary Tools and Supplies
Before you begin the installation process, make sure you have all the necessary tools and supplies. Some of these tools include a basin wrench, adjustable wrench, screwdriver, plumber’s tape, and a flashlight. In addition, you need to have the new faucet, mounting hardware, and flexible supply lines, among other items necessary for the installation. Ensure that you have everything ready before you begin the installation process.
Remove Your Old Faucet
The first step towards installing a new kitchen faucet is to remove the old one. Do this by turning off both the hot and cold water supply valves under the sink. Next, remove the old faucet and the mounting hardware using your adjustable wrench and other necessary tools.
