Flower vases are beautiful and essential elements of decor in any home. However, they can quickly turn into eyesores if not cleaned regularly. Keeping your vase clean can ensure the longevity of your flowers, and make it look its best. Here are 5 tips for cleaning your flower vase.
Start With Soap And Water
The simplest and most effective way to clean your vase is to use soap and water. Fill the vase with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Let it sit for a few minutes, then use a long-handled brush to scrub the inside of the vase. Rinse the vase, and repeat the process until you are satisfied with the results.
Use White Vinegar And Baking Soda
If your vase has stubborn stains or buildup, try using a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda. Fill the vase with warm water and add 1/4 cup of white vinegar and a tablespoon of baking soda. Let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub the inside of the vase with a long-handled brush. Rinse the vase and repeat the process if necessary.
