What is a banana box?
A banana box is a traditional cardboard box that is used as a shipping crate for bananas. The design of the box ensures that the fruit is properly ventilated and protected during transportation. However, the box is also commonly used for storage and moving as it is sturdy and has convenient handles.
Steps to assemble a banana box
The assembly process of a banana box is relatively simple and requires only a few steps.
Step 1: Prepare the box
Remove the flat-packed box from the packaging and lay it on a flat, clean surface. Check that all the necessary components are included and undamaged, including the box itself, the flaps, and the handles.
Step 2: Fold in the flaps
Next, fold in the two shorter flaps on the side of the box opposite the handles. Then, fold in the longer flaps on the sides with the handles, tucking them into the bottom of the box.
Step 3: Push in the bottom flaps
Press down on the bottom of the box to make sure the flaps are secured in place. The bottom of the box should be fully closed, with no gaps or openings.
Step 4: Pull up the handles
Finally, pull up the handles on the sides of the box and secure them in place. Your banana box is now assembled and ready for use!
