Gather your materials
Mason jar snow globes are a fun and easy DIY project that can be customized for any occasion. To make one, you’ll need a few basic materials:
- A Mason jar with a lid
- Glitter or fake snow
- A small figurine or ornament
- Craft glue
- Water
Choose your figurine
The first step in making a Mason jar snow globe is to choose your figurine or ornament. This could be anything from a small Christmas tree to a plastic animal. Whatever you choose, it should be small enough to fit inside your Mason jar.
Glue your figurine to the lid
Once you have your figurine, use craft glue to attach it to the inside of the Mason jar lid. Make sure that it is centered and secure before moving on to the next step.
Add glitter or fake snow
Next, add a small amount of glitter or fake snow to the bottom of your Mason jar. You can also add some small beads or sequins for extra sparkle.
Fill with water and seal
Fill your Mason jar with water, leaving a small amount of space at the top. Screw on the lid tightly, making sure that it is sealed well. You can also add a thin layer of craft glue around the edge of the lid for extra security. Turn the jar upside down and shake it to distribute the glitter or snow. Your snow globe is now complete!
