DIY Pincushion Caddy: A Perfect Sewing Companion
Gather the Materials
The first step in making your pincushion caddy is to gather all the necessary materials. You will need a 4-inch diameter metal container with a lid, a small piece of fabric, stuffing, needle, thread, pins, and scissors. You can find most of these items at your local craft store or online.
Cut and Sew the Fabric
Using your scissors, cut a square of fabric that’s slightly larger than the lid of your container. Place the fabric on top of the lid, pull it tight, and secure it in place with a few pins. Fill the Caddy
Your pincushion caddy is now complete and ready to be filled with all your sewing essentials. Fill the container with needles, thread, scissors, and any other tools you may need. You can also use the container itself to store fabric scraps or other small items.
